Alwinton
Been a long time since I was out in the hills on the bike. Nice easy ride around Alwinton in the Cheviots just brought reminded me why I like it so much. Place was fairly quiet but did see a lot of kids doing their Duke of Edinburgh stuff, or at least it looked like that, but apart from those didn’t see many.
Here are some pictures from the day. Next time I get out I’ll be heading up to the same area but going to join two routes together and make a day of it, this run only took me about 1 1/2 hours.
