Gunnerside in the snow

Bright and sunny Saturday morning, blue sky’s, perfect weather for a trip out to on the bike but very cold and I could see a bit of snow on the hills.
The snow got worse towards the top of the fell and the track was covered most of the way, about 8 inches of snow/ice, un-ridable so decided to bail out halfway round. The downhill back to the car was nice and fast, might take that route again because if the snow had not covered to first couple of mile then that would have been around 5 mile of clear downhill.
